There’s a big shake up at the Ring of Fire. Junior mining company Noront Resources has a deal with Cliffs Natural Resources to buy most of its chromite assets in the area. The agreement is worth $20-million. The transaction still needs court approval. Noront has already completed a three-year environmental at the site, which if approved, would give them the green light to start building a mine later this year.
