Six students had the opportunity of learning about Parliament first hand.
Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon communication director, Paul de la Riva, say the students joined 74 others to take part in the 14th Provincial Francophone Youth Parliament.
He says the students explored the inner workings of Queen’s Park and gained an understanding of provincial politics.
De la Riva adds a key component was a mock debate with students role-playing as MPPs, reporters or representatives of a non-governmental organization. The parliament experience ran from February 18th to 22nd
