Marchisella hopeful on second phase of cottage lot development

Elliot Lake has asked the Ministry of Natural Resources to expedite the process on the cottage lot development.

Mayor Dan Marchisella is hopeful word on Phase Two of the waterfront homes comes down this summer.

But he says it’s all up to the MNR.

Marchisella says the city has done all its preparatory work and has made its pitch.

Marchisella says although the city is asking for 700 lots, he expects that the MNR will only approve half that number.
