The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon is offering a different secondary school option for those who are unable to attend regular school programming.
Board spokesperson Paul de la Riva says the new centre located at the St. Albert Learning Centre in Sudbury is open to teenagers and adults alike who need alternative choices.
He adds students have access to day school for Grade 9 to 12, continuing education for those 21 years of age and older, and evening courses for secondary school students.
He says the school is open to anyone from the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts.
De la Riva adds the official opening was held last Thursday, which included tours of the new facility.
