Plow driver remembered in a unique way

The passing of a former plow truck operator is being commemorated by his peers and community.

On January 7th, 54-year-old Steven Pollock passed away from his injuries sustained in a collision between his plow truck and a transport the night before on Highway 17 east of the Town of Spanish.

Emcon, the contractor he worked with, has remembered him in a special way by customizing one of their maintenance trucks in his memory.

The dedication took place yesterday and the truck will be used to continue servicing Highway 17.
