Manitoulin-Espanola OPP welcomes new sergeant

There is a new sergeant with the Manitoulin-Espanola OPP.

Manitoulin-Espanola OPP Inspector Megan Cavanagh presented newly promoted Sergeant Marc Salisbury with his badge and warrant last Friday.

She says he has close to eight years of service with the OPP and will be stationed out of the Gore Bay Detachment.

Transferring from Middlesex OPP, Cavanagh adds he is looking forward to residing with his family on Manitoulin Island.
