The Manitoulin OPP has charged a Serpent River First Nation man with possession of a suspected controlled substance.
OPP Constable Renee Lalonde says on Sunday afternoon police stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 in Webbwood and they found the driver was in possession of suspected cocaine.
She says the 59-year-old from Serpent River First Nation was arrested and charged with possession, driving while under suspension, driving while prohibited to do so and using an unauthorized vehicle plate.
Lalonde adds he is to appear in court in Espanola on March 2nd.
