Mantha: Premier failing on Ring of Fire

The MPP for Algoma Manitoulin is after Premier Kathleen Wynne over her inaction on the Ring of Fire.  Mike Mantha has a shopping list of Wynne’s failures to help develop the chromite discovery and believes things won’t get better.  Mantha says when Cliffs Natural Resources left the James Bay site, Wynne took no action to spur on development.  He adds we don’t have any updates on how talks are going between the Liberals and First Nations that would benefit from the site.  Mantha says if Ontario is to again become a mining powerhouse, then Wynne needs to take immediate action on the Ring of Fire.
