A single-snowmobile collision resulting in a fatality is still under investigation by Greater Sudbury Police.
Staff Sgt. Peter Orsino says a Greater Sudbury man was killed in a single-snowmobile collision near Wahnapitae and the incident remains under investigation.
He says shortly after five pm on Saturday, city police received the call about the collision on Trail #83 near the North end of Kukagami Road.
He says the 61-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Orsino says the deceased is believed to have been traveling at the tail-end of a large group at the time of the crash and the investigation continues.
