Outage caused by equipment failure

Equipment failure is what caused Sunday afternoon’s power outage in Elliot Lake.  The malfunction took place at a distribution station affecting about 770 customers.  Although some power was restored, Moose FM morning man Bob Alexander drove around town Sunday night and noticed some outages.  In the case of the downtown, where Moose FM has its station, the juice wasn’t back until just after midnight.   And mid morning Monday, the power was again affected forcing Moose FM off the air for a couple of hours.
