Four southern Ontario men face multiple weapons charges

Four southern Ontario men are facing multiple weapons charges following a traffic stop in Blind River.

OPP Constable Kyle Ney says shortly after 11:00 Christmas Eve morning, officers stopped a vehicle on Causley Street in Blind River.

As a result of a search, the four were charged with multiple weapons charges including possession of restricted firearms.

Three Toronto men, two 24-year-olds and a 23-year-old, as well as an 18-year-old from Etobicoke, were arrested and are being held for a bail hearing.

The 23-year-old was also charged with obstructing an officer and the 18-year-old faces possession of opioids charge.
