Ice accretion or build-up of 10 to 15 mm is possible and widespread power outages are likely. Poor travel conditions can be expected today.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.

Strong wind gusts developing near sunrise this morning.
Easterly wind gusts of 90 km/h are likely this morning especially for areas near Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
The strong winds will ease by early afternoon.
In areas where significant ice accretion or build-up has occurred, widespread power outages can be expected.
High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
