Manitoulin OPP Charge Youth With Robbery

Manitoulin OPP has arrested a teenager for armed robbery. OPP Constable Renee Lalonde says on Saturday at around 3 am, officers were called out to a report of a robbery on Meredith Street in Little Current. She says the accused allegedly confronted the victim at knife point and stole a cell phone.

Lalonde says they located the youth and arrested them, charging the 17-year-old with robbery with a weapon. They are to appear in Gore Bay court on January 22nd .
