The Town of Blind River is increasing its user fees across the board by about four percent, but the biggest jump comes in burials and related services.
Treasurer Sue Dent says the fees are being increased to cover the cost of workers and equipment needed for burial.
Some of the increases will be for $50 such as weekday infant burials while others will go up by $100, such as burials on a Saturday.
The cost changes come into effect as of January 1st.
