Vale files law suit against former employees

Vale is suing six people including three former employees alleging they defrauded the company of at least $1 million dollars.
According to the CBC, the fraud is detailed in the lawsuit alleging work that was not done, but was paid for at Sudbury’s Clarabelle Mine.
The man alleged to be the ringleader is Lee MacIsaac, who was the superintendent at Clarabelle up until last year.
MacIsaac had started a side business in 2013 known as RKL Engineering and it is alleged he worked with three other companies subcontracted by Vale to claim money for work that was never carried out.
None of the men that Vale is suing have filed a statement of defence with the court.
