École secondaire catholique Jeunesse-Nord students in Blind River are filling Christmas baskets this year.
Board communication coordinator, Paul de la Riva, says the students collected nearly 300 non-perishable items and caroled for $228 for Christmas baskets for local families in need.
Meanwhile, Sacred Heart School in Espanola has been hosting its 28th annual Morris the Moose Food Drive over the last few weeks with the final tally being released tomorrow.
