Successful radiothons were hosted by both local area Moose FM stations CKNR and CJJM.
CJJM in Espanola raised $14,000 in support of a new x-ray suite at the Espanola Regional Hospital Foundation while CKNR in Elliot Lake collected $5,400 in toys and funds for the annual Salvation Army and Hope Café’s Christmas Kids Toy Drive.
The radiothons are part of National Charity Week initiated by the radio parent company, VISTA Radio
