No surprise here – New Democrats in Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing have re-elected current MP Carol Hughes as their candidate in the upcoming federal election. Hughes has represented the riding for more than six years and two terms. Based on fixed election dates, Canadians are expected to go to the polls on October 19th. The nomination meeting took place in Elliot Lake.
