The provincial government is partnering with the group Teach for Canada in a bid to recruit teachers to Northern Ontario. The educators would also teach at remote First Nations. Teach for Canada is a non-profit group and now begins the job of looking for 40 teachers to come north. One of the goals of the partnership is to use the north as a hub for rural teacher training.
