Opposition Front Benches
Opposition Party leaders will reveal today who will sit on their front benches when parliament gets back to business next week.
Both NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and Conservative leader Andrew Scheer will hold press conferences later today.
Scheer has put his shadow cabinet together just days after firing two top aides.

Free Trade
Another meeting has wrapped up to reach a new North American Free Trade deal.
Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland met with her American and Mexican counterparts yesterday.
Freeland said “good work was done” at the hour-long meeting.
Only Mexico has legally approved the new deal while Canada is waiting for the American Congress to make the first move toward ratification.

Plane Crash
Police say multiple people are dead in a small plane crash near Kingston in eastern Ontario.
It happened last night in a wooded area of the city.
Police say the plane seats six people but would not say how many people were on board.
Transport Canada will be at the scene today to investigate the cause of the crash.
