Espanola Lions Christmas Toy Drive underway

Children from Espanola and surrounding area are sure to find gifts under the tree, thanks to the annual Espanola Lions Club Christmas Toy Drive.

Club spokesperson, Grant Lewis, says trees have been set up at Tanners YIG, the TD Bank, Giant Tiger and Hart Store where donations can be dropped off.

He adds AB Ellis Public and Sacred Heart schools are also hosting fundraisers and the club will match their donations to buy more toys.

The Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank and the local Family Health Team are also taking donations.

Toys will be wrapped on December 19th at the Pinewood, volunteers are always welcome, and the gifts will be delivered on December 21st.
