Motorists in Sudbury were probably wondering why traffic was stopped not far from the downtown early Thursday morning. It turns out police were looking for a man who had made death threats. With help from the OPP, city police spotted the vehicle the man was driving on Paris then stopped traffic on Regent. The accused was arrested on the spot. He’s charged with uttering threats to cause death and possession of a controlled substance.
