It was a 3-1 victory by the Blind River Beavers over the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners Friday evening and then the Beavers defeated the visiting Soo Eagles 3-2 Sunday afternoon.
The Soo Thunderbirds skated to an 11-3 victory over the Elliot Lake Wildcats Friday and the Powassan Voodoos beat out the Espanola Express 7 to 1 also on Friday night.
