An Espanola chiropractor is being recognized for the work he does outside the office. Doctor Dario Laurenti is the recipient of the Inspire Award which was created last year by the publication Canadian Chiropractor. The award recognizes community work and in Laurenti’s case he’s a volunteer firefighter, a member of the local Lions and heavily involved with the Espanola Rivermen. Recently he introduced a program at the local E-R where doctors can refer patients to chiropractors in their area. The publication named two other chiropractors elsewhere in Canada as recipients of the same award. Laurenti says he’s honoured to be named among the three who do work outside their normal workday but adds his patients are number one.
