Break-ins to businesses in Espanola and Tekhummah

Manitoulin OPP is investigating two separate unrelated break-ins, one in Espanola, the other in Tekhummah on Manitoulin Island.
OPP Constable Marie Ford says police are investigating a break and enter to a storage unit at Garnet’s Rentall on McCulloch Drive in Espanola, which occurred sometime between October 18th and the 22nd.

She says electronics and collectible plates were stolen from the unit.

The owners of Garnet’s Rentall are also asking for people who have storage units to check on them to ensure no other break-ins have taken place, and if so, to contact police.

Ford adds on Tuesday, police responded to a break and enter at a business on the 10th Side Road in Tehkummah on the Island.
