20th Annual Bridges to Better Business Conference develops talent

The 20th Annual Bridges to Better Business Conference held in Sudbury attracted some 150 entrepreneurs and business managers from across Northern Ontario.

Chris Derro is the Communications Specialist with Noojmowin Teg Health Centre, which has offices in Espanola and on Manitoulin Island.

He took in the one-day conference hosted by the Sudbury Regional Business Centre, which provided him and the other attendees the opportunity to network and exchange valuable ideas.

He says they also encourage growth into new regions including the Manitoulin District and the Espanola—North Shore corridor adding it is a win-win for both businesses and consumers.

Derro adds in his role, it is important to find out from experienced local entrepreneurs about the challenges they have faced and how they accomplished their goals.

The one-day conference was held at the Holiday Inn in Sudbury on Tuesday.
