News Fundraisers underway for three-year-old girl with leukemia SHARE ON: Rosalind Russell, staff Tuesday, Oct. 22nd, 2019 The people of Espanola and surrounding area are coming together to help a three-year-old girl who has leukemia. Isabelle, the daughter of Joel and Stephanie Lacasse, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 13th. Photo supplied by Lacasse family A three-year-old Massey girl has been diagnosed with leukemia and the community is drawing together to assist the family. Isabelle, the daughter of Joel and Stephanie Lacasse, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 13th. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and will need ongoing medical care. To that end, family, friends, schools and businesses have come together to help the family financially since Stephanie has had to take a leave of absence to take care of Isabelle.
