Electors will take to the polls today across Canada to vote for their Member of Parliament for the next four years.

The Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing riding has six candidates on the ballot: NDP incumbent, Carol Hughes, Liberal Heather Wilson, Conservative Dave Williamson, Max Chapman for the Green, Dave DeLisle of the People’s Party and Le Marquis de Marmalade for the Rhinoceros Party.

The nearby Sudbury riding has eight candidates: Bill Crumplin of the Green, Chanel Lalonde of the Animal Protection Party, incumbent Liberal Paul Lefebvre, Beth Mairs of the NDP, Sean Paterson of the People’s Party, Conservative candidate, Pierre St. Amant and two Independents; J. David Popescu and Charlene Sylvestre.
