The Blind River Beavers stormed back from an early 3-0 deficit to defeat the Rayside-Balfour Canadians 8-6 in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League action Saturday at the Blind River arena and on Sunday, The Beavers pulled out a 2-1 victory over the Soo Eagles.
The Elliot Lake Wildcats pulled a 5-4 triumph over the Espanola Express Friday at the Espanola complex, but were defeated on Sunday 4-2 by the Cochrane Crunch.
