Former reporter Callam Rodya to be sentenced in New Year on child porn charges

A former Sudbury reporter will wait until the New Year for sentencing on several child porn charges.

A sentencing date of January 7th has been set for former Sudbury reporter Callam Rodya.

Rodya was arrested in February after police searched his home and found evidence of child pornography on computers.

He is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, three counts of accessing child pornography, three counts of making it available and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Rodya was released on bail on February 14th with a number of conditions.

He was not in court yesterday but was represented by his lawyer, Alex Toffoli.
