School’s open as CUPE strikes deal with province

It’s business as usual at Ontario schools on Monday morning.

CUPE, the union representing 55,000 educational workers has struck a deal with the province.

The union had been in a legal strike position for midnight Sunday night but weekend long negotiations have been successful meaning schools are open Monday morning as usual.

Kids will be in school Monday morning.

Details of the agreement will not be made public until union members vote on it.
