Investigators are at the scene of an explosion just east of Sault Ste. Marie. The explosion took place at a sports complex in Echo Bay resulting in major damage. No one was inside the building when the blast took place at five this morning. It’s believed something blew up in the Zamboni room and the Fire Marshall’s Office is now looking into the incident. OPP say foul play is not suspected.
