A national charity will benefit from another successful event hosted by the Espanola Firefighters Association.
Ryan Courtemanche says the weather was perfect for some 220 registered riders to take part in the Fourth Annual Espanola Firefighters ATV Run for Muscular Dystrophy on Saturday.
He adds over $9,000 was raised for Muscular Dystrophy Canada for research into the group of diseases that results in the breakdown of skeletal muscles over time.
Courtemanche adds the event has raised over $40,000 since its inception four years ago.
