Water main swabbing set to go in Espanola

The annual fall water maintenance program is set to go in Espanola.

Public Works Espanola will begin swabbing the water mains on Monday evening starting at 9:00 pm and overnight until 5:00 am.

Residents are strongly encouraged to close off their main water valve in the homes overnight and to attempt to avoid the use of any water during those hours.

This is to avoid any swabbing materials getting into localized lines and causing blockages.
