Green Party Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing candidate named

The writ has dropped and election season is officially underway.

The Green Party candidate for Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing, Max Chapman, is kicking off his election campaign in Mindemoya this evening.

The Green Party is encouraging the public to come out and meet Chapman at this event and to discuss issues and the campaign.

“This is an exciting time for us. Already we’ve seen momentum growing behind our campaign. I look forward to seeing everyone at the event,” Chapman said.

The other candidates in the riding include Heather Wilson with the Liberals, David Williamson of the Conservatives, David DeLise of the PPC and incumbent Carol Hughes for the NDP.
