Sault Ste. Marie is going after the 2017 Brier. The last time the city hosted the men’s national curling championship was 1990. And five years ago the Sault hosted the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Sault native and Olympic Curling champion Brad Jacobs will be the face of the bid effort. Jacobs is the 2013 Brier champion.
