The Elliot Lake Wildcats have set an NOJHL record. The club now owns the record for most wins in a season by an expansion club. The Cats have 34 wins, one more than the previous mark held by the former Timmins Golden Bears when they joined the league in 1991. There’s a good chance Elliot Lake will add to the new record because there are four games left in the regular season.
