Nairn Centre man dies from motorcycle injuries

A Nairn Centre man is dead following a single motorcycle collision.

Sixty-three-year old Gerald Sutherland succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Tuesday.

Sudbury OPP Constable Michelle Coulombe says the collision occurred August 4th on Highway 17, just west of Highway 144.

She says the investigation revealed the eastbound motorcycle gradually left the roadway and struck a rock cut.

Coulombe adds speed was not a factor in the collision and the investigation continues.
