Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli isn’t buying into the Liberal spin that the falling price of oil is good for Ontario’s economy. He says for the Liberals to claim this, proves they have no idea how the economy works. He says when oil drops, it affects numerous businesses and they all sink in the same tide. Fedeli says when he was North Bay’s mayor, the city had offices in Alberta and Saskatchewan to help the local mining and manufacturing firms get business from the west. He says the falling price of oil has hurt those local businesses.
