Firefighters were able to save a cottage, but not before another cottage and jeep were destroyed in a blaze in M’Chigeeng.
M’Chigeeng and Billing’s Township firefighters fought the fire Monday morning on the north side of Crosshill Road on Lake Mindemoya.
Two people and a dog made it safely out of the building without no injuries.
They were able to get the fire under control before it spread to an adjacent cottage.
Faulty electrical wiring is being blamed for the fire.
