A Hamilton man picked the wrong time to try and beak into a business in Lively. The shop owner had closed for the day but was still inside when someone tried to break in through the back door using a power tool. The would-be-thief took off when the shop owner yelled. Police tracked down the man at a hotel by identifying his vehicle with video surveillance from surrounding businesses. He faces charges of attempting break and enter and possession of break-in tools.
