Another major section of Highway 6 – Centre Street in Espanola will be redone next year.
Espanola is receiving $3-million to reconstruct the main highway in the Espanola Mall area of town from the McDonald’s restaurant to McCulloch Drive through the Connecting Link Program.
The funding covers up to 90 percent of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $3 million.
The funding will cover the design, construction, and replacement of the major byway.
The work will be carried out next year.
