Elliot Lake hires lobby group find funding

Finding grants and filling out the extensive forms and collating the information needed for each one can be costly and time-consuming.

Realizing that time is of the essence in accessing funds from the provincial and federal governments, Elliot Lake council has agreed to hire a lobby group to carry out the work.

Council has contracted the services of the Daisy Group to help the city with strategic assistance with various grant projects, such as the proposed multiplex recreation facility.

With the group’s assistance, the city’s application for funding the multiplex will be prepared and ready to submit by late fall.

Council agreed to contract the Daisy Group for four to six months at a cost of $6,000 per month.
