The venues were full at the Weengushk International Film Festival held on Manitoulin Island.
Thirty films were presented by Weengushk Film Institute partnered with Brock University this past weekend and also included industry workshops and a musical blues showcase.
Humanitarian awards were also presented to Former NHL coach Ted Nolan along with author and motivational speaker, Calvin Helin.
A gala and award presentations rounded out the weekend on Sunday afternoon, capped off with a performance by Wiikwemikoong’s own Crystal Shawanda.
