The identification of a motorcyclist who died following a collision over the weekend has been released.
Sault Ste. Marie OPP say the driver of the motorcycle, 52-year-old Jeffory Wolfenden of Hamilton died at the scene of the head-on collision, which occurred Saturday afternoon around 2:30 pm on Highway 1y between Highway 552 and Pineshores Road in Goulais Township.
The preliminary investigation determined that a motorcycle struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle.
No one was hurt in the SUV.
