Three people are in hospital following a three-car collision on the holiday Monday.
On Canada Day, just after 5:00 pm, officers from the Espanola OPP with the assistance of the Sudbury-Manitoulin Emergency Medical Services responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 17 near Lorne Falls Road in Walden Township.
Three people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 17 was closed for approximately two and a half hours.
The investigation is continuing.
