A member of the Espanola Sea Cadets will take part in a biathlon provincial competition in Sault Ste. Marie. Petty Officer Second Class Severin Gravelle qualified for the provincial event by finishing first at the Northern Ontario Area Cadet Biathlon. The regional championship took place in the Sault, and the Sault is also hosting the provincial portion this Friday through Sunday. Seven sea cadets from Espanola’s Hero corps took in the Northern Ontario Area Cadet Biathlon but only Gravelle won top honours.
