There’s been a fatal highway crash west of North Bay. It happened on Highway 63 when a pick-up truck slid into the path of a logging truck and then hit a propane tanker. The driver of the pick-up had to be extricated from his vehicle and died later as a result of his injuries. The victim was a resident of Eldee, a community near North Bay. He’s identified as 68-year-old Peter Watson.
