North Shore educator named outstanding principal

A teacher at St. Mary’s in Massey has been named one of Canada’s Outstanding principals.  He’s Christopher Vuorensyrja.  The group Learning Partnerships looked for principals who are innovated, find opportunities and have an entrepreneurial spirit.  And it found 40 principals across Canada, including 18 in Ontario that fit this criteria.  Vuorensyrja and the others will be honoured February 24th in Toronto.  They will take part in a five day leadership training program at one of Canada’s top business schools, Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
