The repairs are scheduled to be completed by early fall, which means the Junior A team will have a home to call their own for the 2019/20 hockey season. She says the Elliot Lake Wildcats are grateful for the work of council and city staff. The team and other arena users lost the use of the facility following inspections for snow removal revealed roof deficiencies. Grise emphasizes the Wildcats, under the competent guidance of General Manager and Head Coach, Gord Ouimet, and staff, along with the number of returning players, the signing of local players and the arrival of new and talented individuals, are starting this upcoming season in a strong, positive position.
